Job summary

Greenleaf Productions in Bethlehem, PA is seeking an experienced Assistant Editor with strong Avid Media Composer skills for a full-time, in-house role. You will organize media, prep projects for editors, manage assets, and ensure a smooth workflow from ingest to final delivery.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically skilled, and capable of maintaining organized project files and archives across the post-production pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in film, media, or related field.
• Experience with project management tools and cloud storage (Frame.io, Dropbox).
• Knowledge of color grading and sound mixing workflows is a plus.
• Avid inside and out; organized and fast

Responsibilities

• Ingest, organize, and sync footage in preparation for editorial.
• Create and maintain organized project files, bins, and timelines.
• Manage proxies, transcoding, and media relinking tasks.
• Assist editors with rough cuts, pulls, stringouts, and revision updates.
• Handle exports, compression, and formatting for client review or delivery.
• Maintain edit logs, version control, and archive protocols.
• Collaborate with editorial to troubleshoot issues and streamline workflows.
• Prepare project elements for handoff to color, sound, and finishing teams.
• Stay on top of backing up projects and footage to LTO-tape.
