Job summary

Notre Dame is seeking an Assistant Division Director to shape student culture, oversee behavior, and coordinate student life across the Upper and Middle Schools. The role collaborates with the Director of Upper School and the Director of Middle School to foster a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment where students are known, valued, and empowered to lead.

Occasional teaching or club leadership may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in middle or high school settings including leadership roles.
• Experience in conflict resolution and restorative discipline practices desirable.

Responsibilities

• Shape student culture, conduct, and behavior across Upper and Middle School.
• Oversee daily student life logistics and safety protocols.
• Plan and supervise co-curricular programming and school events.
• Collaborate with division directors on student support and well-being initiatives.
• Teach an academic class or lead clubs as needed.
• Lead orientation for fall and manage student clubs and activities.
