Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company in Mokena, IL is seeking an Assistant District Manager to help grow district operations and uphold company policies in daily field work.

You will lead crews, educate clients on tree care, develop health care programs, and build relationships with new and existing customers while supporting the District Manager.

This permanent, full-time position is on-site with up to 25% travel; starting salary is $80,000 per year plus bonuses, with full benefits.

Qualifications

• ISA Certified Arborist
• Valid driver’s license
• Regional plant and horticulture knowledge
• Good people skills; self-motivated; computer proficient and organized
• Must be knowledgeable and experienced with tree care, hazard tree evaluation, integrated pest management and industry approved tree care practices
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
• Preferred: Two or Four-year degree in a green industry

Responsibilities
