Job summary

Minnesota Department of Transportation seeks an engineering leader to manage District 6 operations, including design, hydraulics, project management, and planning. This role chairs the SE Minnesota Area Transportation Partnership and oversees the SE Minnesota Area Transportation Improvement Program.

The incumbent will guide fiscal and technical priorities, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure high-quality delivery of transportation projects across the district.

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed as a Professional Civil Engineer.
  • Five years of professional post-registration engineering experience, with at least three years at the Engineer Principal level or higher.
  • A written summary of leadership, fiscal management, technical knowledge, and communication skills is also required.

Job description
