Minnesota Department of Transportation seeks an engineering leader to manage District 6 operations, including design, hydraulics, project management, and planning. This role chairs the SE Minnesota Area Transportation Partnership and oversees the SE Minnesota Area Transportation Improvement Program.
The incumbent will guide fiscal and technical priorities, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure high-quality delivery of transportation projects across the district.
The incumbent will manage and provide engineering leadership for the operations of District 6, including design, hydraulics, project management, and planning. They will also chair the SE Minnesota Area Transportation Partnership and manage the SE Minnesota Area Transportation Improvement Program.
Applicants must have licensure as a professional Civil Engineer and five years of professional post-registration engineering experience, with at least three years at the Engineer Principal level or higher. A written summary of knowledge and experience in leadership, fiscal management, technical knowledge, and communication skills is also required.
