The Center for Watershed Protection seeks an Assistant District Engineer (Operations) with managerial authority over maintenance programs ensuring customer satisfaction. Our Assistant District Engineer (Operations) position has full managerial authority and accountability for human and fiscal resources, as well as other resources needed to deliver maintenance programs district-wide, addressing customer needs. The incumbent will be responsible for:
Detroit Lakes offers year-round recreation with 412 lakes within 25 miles, a 1-mile-long public sand beach, and proximity to Fargo/Moorhead. The area features skiing, fishing, bird watching, hiking, biking, skating, mountain biking, snowmobiling, boating, and 8 golf courses.
Housing options include lakeshore properties, residential city and rural developments, hobby farms, apartments, condominiums, and townhouses. Education facilities include two elementary schools, a middle school, a high school, parochial schools, and Minnesota State Community and Technical College.
