Job summary

The District 2 Office of the 220 District Attorneys Council seeks an Assistant District Attorney to prosecute criminal offenses (misdemeanors and felonies) and handle juvenile cases. The attorney will also provide legal services to county government operations and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements include a JD from an accredited law school and admission in good standing with the Oklahoma Bar. Preference is given to applicants living in Beckham, Custer, Washita, Roger Mills, or Ellis

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to and in good standing with Oklahoma Bar Association.
• Preference to live within one of the District 2 counties (Beckham, Custer, Washita, Roger Mills and Ellis).

Responsibilities

• Prosecute criminal offenses, including misdemeanors and felonies.
• Handle juvenile cases, including neglect, delinquency and CINS.
• Provide legal services related to county government operations.
• Perform other duties assigned based on experience.
