Job summary

Tireco, Inc is seeking an Assistant Distribution Center Manager in Hartford, CT area to support the Distribution Center Manager with warehouse operations including receiving, put away and product organization. You will help supervise staff and strive for efficient operations to meet daily goals.

Qualifying candidates have at least 3 years in DC operations, experience with fleet management, DOT compliance, and a valid license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ distribution center operations experience, supervision/management preferred.
• Experience managing fleet of delivery vehicles.
• Operate vehicles under DOT compliance.
• Possess a valid standard driver’s license; some states may require Class D - No CDL.
• Meet DOT requirements; pass drug test and DOT physical; be at least 21 years old; willing to cross state lines for deliveries.
• Able to be insured under company driving policy.
• Inventory management and cycle counting.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Ability to operate a lift; lift certification training will be provided.
• Ability to become Smith System certified; training will be provided.

Job Details: Job Location: Hartford - East Hartford, CT 06109, Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $65,000.00 Salary/year, Job Shift: Any, JOB TITLE: Assistant Distribution Center Manager

The Assistant Distribution Center Manager (ADCM) assists the Distribution Center Manager (DCM) in overseeing all warehouse activities including but not limited to receiving, put away, and overall organization of product in the warehouse. The ADCM will help the DCM manage staff, where necessary, and help to ensure efficient operations.
