Job summary

Acreage CCF New Jersey in Williamstown is hiring an Assistant Dispensary Manager to support the dispensary manager with daily operations, inventory control and staff coordination.

The role involves roughly 50% inventory/fulfillment and 50% managerial tasks, with a strong emphasis on compliance with state guidelines and customer education.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist with physical inventory tasks including order fulfillment and aging inventory.
  • Authorize product returns and assist with recalls.
  • Assist with promotion development and daily menu management.
  • Manage daily sales operations including cash reconciliation and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with state guidelines and supervise vendors/visitors.
  • Support staff scheduling, recruiting, onboarding, and conflict coaching.

About the Role:

The Assistant Dispensary Manager will be responsible for assisting the dispensary manager with managerial duties as well as fulfillment and inventory responsibilities. This position will consist of approximately 50% inventory/fulfillment work and 50% managerial tasks.

How you’ll make a difference:
  • Assist with tasks with physical inventory including but not limited to: Order fulfillment, delivery intake, monitoring aging inventory, destruction oversight, reconciliations, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Authorize product returns
  • Assist with product recall processes
  • Assist with the creation promotion development.
  • Responsible for managing the daily menu based on the current inventory.
  • Assist the Dispensary Manager with required daily/monthly audits.
  • Manage daily sales operations including but not limited to cash reconciliation, sales reporting, access inventory audits.
  • Ensuring compliance with state guidelines regarding patient interactions/education.
  • Oversight of any vendors and visitors.
  • Assist with facilitating patient education events.
  • Assist with staff conflict/coaching
  • Assist with employee scheduling, recruiting, and onboarding
  • Follow up on general building maintenance
Skills to be Successful:
Education and Experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Associates degree or equivalent, bachelor’s preferred.
  • 1-2 years previous management experience.
  • Cash management and inventory control skills.
Skills and Abilities:

Physical Requirements:
  • Extended time standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for 100 feet
  • Standing for extended period more than 4 hours increments
Computers and Technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Proficiency with inventory systems and office equipment
  • Must pass state background check (state mandated)

Schedule

40 hours per week, 5 8-hour shifts, open availability required including weekends and Holidays as needed for business operations.

Manufacturing environment that requires extended time standing, walking, bending and reaching. Ability to carry up to 50lbs for up to 100ft may be required. Occasional extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects. Ability to work in a humid and pollinated environment.
