Job summary

Parts Authority is expanding and seeks an Assistant Dispatcher to join our team. The role involves scheduling drivers, tracking orders, and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include 1–2 years of dispatcher experience and strong knowledge of local roads. Prior auto parts store experience is a plus. We offer benefits and room for growth within a nationwide distributor.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of dispatcher/assistant dispatcher experience.
• Extensive knowledge of local area roads.
• Experience coordinating multiple drivers.
• Prior experience in an auto parts store is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use dispatch software to track orders and assign runs to drivers.
• Support lead dispatcher; monitor cash handling and billing times.
• Coordinate with Parts Pullers to ensure correct deliveries.
• Verify routes with drivers and update customers on status.
• Assist customers over the phone with order updates.
• Maintain safety and perform other duties as needed.
