Job summary

Hillsdale College is seeking an Assistant Director of Student Activities to support planning, development, and execution of student engagement initiatives. You will collaborate with Directors of Student Programs and Student Activities to coordinate signature programs, campus events, and communications that advance the College’s mission.

Qualifications

• Graphic design knowledge required.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license.
• Supervisory experience in student programming or related field.
• Website management and marketing management experience.
• Experience with event planning and program development.
• Budget planning and fiscal management proficiency.
• Understanding of student government operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide programmatic and administrative support for a broad range of Student Affairs initiatives.
• Coordinate, evaluate, and expand student engagement initiatives.
• Create, manage, and maintain digital and print communications for Student Affairs.
• Design engaging graphics and materials to promote programs and campus events.
• Develop, coordinate, and evaluate initiatives such as Curate programming and Summit.
• Plan and execute complex events with logistics across departments and partners.
• Supervise and mentor student employees and staff.
