York Technical College is seeking an Assistant Director of Student Life to lead new student orientation, first-year engagement, and college-wide program administration. The role requires coordinating with Admissions, Financial Aid, Academic Advising, and other areas to ensure accurate information and smooth operations.

The successful candidate will plan, implement, and evaluate programs; manage logistics, budgets, and communications, and support student success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience administering new student orientation and/or first-year experience programs or coordinating complex programs involving multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Experience training, scheduling, and providing day-to-day direction to student employees, orientation leaders, peer mentors, student ambassadors, or similar program participants.
• Master's degree requested or preferred in the application process.

Responsabilidades

• New Student Orientation and Transition - Plans, implements, and evaluates New Student Orientation and related transition experiences.
• First-Year Engagement and Student Ambassador Coordination - Develops programs, communications, events, and outreach to help new students navigate the College and engage with resources.
• Program Administration, Assessment, and Improvement - Establishes goals, plans, and measures; uses data to evaluate effectiveness and improve programs.
• Student Life Support and College Service - Provides administrative and event support for Student Life activities and participates in committees and events.
