The Assistant Director of Student Health Services assists in managing the daily operations of Student Health Services ( SHS ), supporting the delivery of clinical care, health education and programming, and supporting SHS's public health functions. The Assistant Director supports the coordination of overall departmental operations and provides advanced clinical oversight and direct patient care, ensuring services align with best practice standards, ethical guidelines, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements. The Assistant Director fosters a welcoming, student-centered, and supportive environment while demonstrating leadership and excellence in operational management, health and wellness programming, staff development, and public health initiatives.
Job Description
Student Health Services staff are mandatory employees and, as such, are required to report to work during states of emergency. Additionally, this position requires some evening and weekend hours to support Student Health Services and university programming.
