Montefiore Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for the School Health Program in the Bronx. This role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to nursing staff, collaborates with the Director of Nursing, and ensures high-quality patient care aligned with regulatory standards.

The position oversees nearly 50 nurses across 33 school-based health centers. The role emphasizes staff development, policy implementation, and coordination with multidisciplinary

Qualificações

• New York State Registered Professional Nurse License and current registration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Minimum of 4 years management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to apply and utilize balanced scorecard measures.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in development and management of Quality Improvement projects.
• Works with site teams to continue improvement for staff development and practice.
• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day nursing functions.
• Assist in hiring and monitoring nursing and support staff activities.
• Identify with CCNCs and providers patient action plans for safe, timely management of patients.
• Serve as clinical resource person for CCNCs.
