Chartwells K12 Houston is seeking an Assistant Director of Dining Services to support operations across multiple Houston locations, including KIPP Houston Public Schools. You will help oversee a $13M-$15M dining program, collaborate with the Director of Dining Services, Executive Chef, and Sous Chef leadership, and drive service quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has K-12 food service experience, strong leadership, and the ability to develop teams of up to 170

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of food service management experience.
• Experience in education or school dining operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial experience and business acumen.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) preferred.
• Associate's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with Chef and management to create nutritious, top-quality food.
• Implements new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Maintains excellent client relationships.
• Manages, trains, and develops associates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
