Education & Experience
  • Master’s degree in Recreation Management, Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Sports Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of progressive professional experience in sport rules. design/implementation, programming, officiating experience, and training officials.
  • Minimum one (1) year officiating experience outside of a collegiate Intramural Sports program (extramural, high school, college‑level).
  • Progressive experience leading recreation programs and/or facility operations in a college setting.
  • Experience overseeing large‑scale student employment programs (preferably 50+ employees).
  • Proven records in leading organizational transformation, with the capacity to effect change in the institutional culture and operations.
  • Professional involvement such as presenting or committee work, particularly involvement with organizations such as NIRSA , NRPA , NASPA or ACPA .
Skills and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of recreation management systems such as Innosoft Fusion, IMLeagues, DSE , Smartsheet, or similar software tools.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and/or Qualtrics.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships across diverse campus units.
