American Jewish Committee (AJC) is seeking a part-time, 20–23 hours per week position in Philadelphia to support regional advocacy efforts and manage department initiatives. The candidate will coordinate outreach programs, events, and meetings, while building coalitions with stakeholders and partners to advance AJC’s mission.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least 5 years of related experience, with willingness to travel regionally and a car for travel needs.

AJC's Regional Offices connect the local communities with AJC’s global advocacy work to enhance the well‑being of the Jewish people and Israel. We maintain the agency's nationwide presence by attracting leaders and donors to AJC, enhancing the organization’s influence with key local, national, and international decision makers and stakeholders, implementing advocacy initiatives at the state and local level, and establishing and nurturing community relationships.
This position makes an impact at AJC by managing work with moderate, but important impact on the organization's mission and goals. Works with regular oversight to solve moderately complex problems and make moderate and significant decisions.
Incumbents manage programs, projects, initiatives, and events that advance AJC’s mission and advocacy efforts. Working under direct supervision, this position is responsible for planning and executing departmental strategies, engaging and communicating with influential stakeholders, and building coalitions and partnerships.
