Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to our teaching team.
  • Support teacher onboarding, training, observations, feedback, and professional development.

  • Support student placement, testing, level changes, academic progress, and attendance.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for students with academic questions or concerns.

  • Coordinate academic programs, resources, communications, and special initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other school teams to continuously improve the student experience.

Assistant Director of Studies – San Diego
Reports to: Director of Studies

EF San Diego is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic academic professional to join our team as Assistant Director of Studies. Working closely with the Director of Studies, this role helps lead the day-to-day academic operation of the school while supporting our teachers and ensuring an exceptional learning experience for our students.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, adaptable, and solutions oriented. You’ll enjoy this role if you love working with people, developing teachers, solving problems, and being part of a fast-paced international school community.

What you’ll do
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to our teaching team

Compensation range for this role is $56,000–$60,000 USD annually, based on experience.
