Reporting to the Class of 1955 Executive Director of PBHA, the Assistant Director of Operations andDevelopment will play a critical role in developing and overseeing donor management,communications, and alumni engagement systems to support the Executive Director, SeniorDevelopment Coordinator, and student officer efforts. The position will support projects related toPBHA’s 501C3 financial systems and data analysis in consultation with the Assistant Director ofFinancial Strategy for PBHA. The position will create systems and structures that build institutional memory, streamline transitions of staff and student leaders, and reduce administrative workload ofthe Executive Director in support of PBHA’s mission with a special focus on managing PBHAoperations and internal HR processes. The position will also supervise the Vehicles Coordinator and Operations Coordinator positions, fundraising and event consultants and coach events,alumni, and communications student officers, and support them in their areas of responsibility.
The Phillips Brooks House Association (PBHA) is a Harvard student organization, a student-led, staff-supported, community service non-profit, and a part of the Harvard Center for Public Service department. PBHA has been instrumental in meeting the mission of the college for over 120 years and engages 1500 student volunteers in service and social action in over 55 year round programs.
Mission: PBHA strives for social justice. As a student-led organization, PBHA mobilizes volunteers in collaboration with Boston and Cambridge partners to address gaps in opportunities and resources. We develop student and community leadership to creatively meet critical needs and advocate for structural change.
