Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners in Baytown, TX seeks an ADON (Assistant Director of Nursing) to supervise nursing services and uphold standards of care. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and supports licensed nurses, with responsibilities across admissions, rounds, and care quality.

Requirements include an active RN or LVN license, CPR certification, and excellent communication in English. Familiarity with Point Click Care is preferred; weekend/evening shifts may apply and benefits

Qualifications

• Current RN or LVN license.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident safety.
• Review all new admissions for accuracy and completeness.
• Make daily rounds on residents.
• Coach/mentor licensed nurses.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident comfort requests.
• Utilize Point Click Care for charting.
• Assist in staffing schedules to maintain coverage.
