Genesis Administrative Services LLC is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing in the United States. You will support the Director of Nursing with efficient and effective care delivery, driving positive clinical outcomes and high patient/family and staff satisfaction.

You will liaise between nursing units and leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, contribute to budgeting, and mentor staff to promote top-of-license practice.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license.
• Minimum 3 years full-time clinical experience; at least 2 years supervising in long-term care.
• Knowledge of the MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and state/federal regulations.
• On-call availability required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical operational liaison between nursing units and the Director of Nursing.
• Oversee quality of clinical operations to ensure compliance with policies, standards and regulations.
• Collaborate on budgeting for the nursing department.
• Mentor staff to achieve best-practice care and continuous improvement.
• Assist with nurse staffing, evaluations, interviews and orientations.

Responsibilities

Take your nursing career to the next level as an Assistant Director of Nursing where you will support the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop, allocate and control the budget for the nursing department.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement and mentor staff to achieve top of license practice.
• Assist with nurse staffing to include but not limited to performance evaluations, interviews and orientation of nurses.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university with a current Registered Nurse/RN license by the State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum 3 years full-time or equivalent clinical experience; at least 2 years' experience in nursing supervision in the long-term care setting is required
• Must have knowledge of the MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and state and federal regulations.
• On-call availability is required.
