Job summary

Genesis Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient clinical care and achieving positive patient outcomes. You will serve as a liaison between nursing units and leadership, ensuring compliance with policies and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

The role requires RN licensure, 3+ years of clinical experience with 2+ years in long-term care supervision, and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license.
• Minimum 3 years of full-time clinical experience; at least 2 years in nursing supervision in long-term care.
• Knowledge of the MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and state and federal regulations.
• On-call availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical operational liaison between nursing units and the Director of Nursing.
• Ensure quality of clinical operations and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate to develop, allocate and control the nursing department budget.
• Mentor staff to achieve top-of-license practice and continuous improvement.
• Assist with nurse staffing, including evaluations, interviews and orientation.

Responsibilities

Take your nursing career to the next level as an Assistant Director of Nursing where you will support the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.

• Serve as a clinical operational liaison between the nursing units and the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• On-call availability is required.
