Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Take your nursing career to the next level as an Assistant Director of Nursing where you will support the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, staffing development, infection control, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.

• Serve as a clinical operational liaison between the nursing units and the Director of Nursing.
• Responsible for the quality of the clinical operations of the nursing units to include compliance with Genesis policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations.
• To detect possible communicable diseases or infections, plan control activities before
  
  

communicable diseases or infections can spread to others, and identify and manage potential

outbreaks of disease.

• Foster an environment of continuous improvement and mentor staff to achieve top of license practice.
• Assist with nurse staffing to include but not limited to performance evaluations, interviews and orientation of nurses.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university with a current Registered Nurse/RN license by the State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum 3-5 years full-time or equivalent clinical experience; at least 2-3 years' experience in nursing supervision in the long-term care setting is required
• Must have knowledge of the MDS processes, state nurse practice acts, and state and federal regulations.
• On-call availability is required.
