Genesiscareers is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient, high-quality care in a long-term care setting. This role focuses on operational liaison, policy compliance, and staff development to ensure optimal patient and family satisfaction.

The position requires a NC RN license, 3+ years clinical experience with 2+ years in supervision, and solid knowledge of MDS and regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in NC.
• Minimum 3 years full-time clinical experience; at least 2 years nursing supervision in long-term care.
• Knowledge of the MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical operational liaison between the nursing units and the Director of Nursing.
• Ensure the quality of clinical operations in line with policies, practice standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop, allocate and control the budget for the nursing department.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement and mentor staff to top-of-license practice.
• Assist with nurse staffing including performance evaluations, interviews and orientation.

Responsibilities

Take your nursing career to the next level as an Assistant Director of Nursing where you will support the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.
