Erickson Senior Living seeks an experienced nursing leader at Highland Springs for North Dallas to advance resident-centered care. You will mentor clinical staff, allocate resources by resident acuity, and uphold infection control standards.

You will monitor quality metrics, participate in governance committees, and collaborate with the DON to manage the nursing budget and regulatory readiness across the campus.

Qualifications

• RN nursing license with no restrictions for the operating state.
• Wound care, quality improvement, MDS, falls, hydration, infection control, care planning experience a plus.
• Minimum 3 years in a healthcare leadership role (Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, etc.).
• Experience with an electronic medical record (EMR) system preferred.
• Obtain Infection Prevention Certification within 90 days of employment.
• CPR/First Aid training preferred.

• Ensure appropriate staff is allocated based on resident acuity and care level.
• Monitor infection control practices and develop monitoring/reporting policies.
• Oversee clinical quality areas including wound care, infection control, falls risk, pain management, hydration, and dehydration.
• Participate in wound rounds, operations meetings, Utilization Review, and PI/RM/S committees.
• Review clinical outcomes to exceed benchmarking thresholds.
• Partner with DON to plan and maintain the nursing department budget.
• Work with DON and leaders to ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness.

How you will make an impact

• Leading and mentoring a team of clinical staff members, ensuring Erickson's Person-Centered Care approach, and creating an exceptional environment for our residents.
• Ensuring appropriate staff is provided based on resident acuity in each level of care.
• Monitoring infection control for staff and residents and developing appropriate policies for infection control monitoring and reporting.
• Monitoring clinical quality areas including wound care, infection control, falls risk reduction, pain management, weight loss, and dehydration.
• Participating in Wound Rounds, Operations Meetings, Utilization Review, and Performance Improvement/Risk Management/Safety (PI/RM/S) Committee.
• Reviewing clinical outcomes to ensure that we stay above the National, State, and Erickson benchmarking thresholds.
• Collaborating with DON to plan, develop and maintain the clinical operational budget for the nursing department.
• Partnering with DON and clinical leaders to ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness.

Compensation

Salary range starting at $115k with eligibility for annual bonus

What you will need

• Current RN nursing license with no restrictions for the state in which they operate.
• Expertise in wound care, quality improvement, MDS, falls, hydration, infection control, care planning, etc.… a plus.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a healthcare leadership role (Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, etc.).
• Experience with an electronic medical record (EMR) system is preferred.
• Must obtain Infection Prevention Certification within 90 days of employment.
• CPR/First Aide training preferred.
