Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – Risk & Education to join our leadership team. This role focuses on clinical education, quality improvement, risk management, and developing strong nursing teams in a SNF setting.

The ADON – Risk & Education will work with the Director of Nursing and facility leadership to ensure resident care, regulatory compliance, staff education, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the applicable state.
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting.
  • Leadership experience as ADON, RN Supervisor, Nurse Educator, Infection Preventionist, or similar role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state requirements, and survey processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Nursing with oversight of daily nursing operations and clinical services.
  • Develop, coordinate, and provide ongoing education and training for nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs).
  • Lead orientation programs and ensure new employees receive appropriate clinical training.
  • Monitor clinical practices for compliance with facility policies and CMS/state requirements.
  • Identify educational opportunities based on quality metrics, audits, incidents, and clinical trends.
  • Support infection prevention initiatives and promote best practices across the facility.
  • Participate in QAPI activities and quality improvement projects.
  • Review incident reports and assist with corrective action plans.
  • Conduct clinical audits to ensure documentation accuracy and adherence to care standards.
  • Assist with survey preparation and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to nursing staff for professional growth.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to improve resident outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Assist with developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – Risk & Education to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a passionate nursing professional who excels in clinical education, quality improvement, risk management, and developing strong nursing teams.

The ADON – Risk & Education will work closely with the Director of Nursing and facility leadership to ensure the delivery of exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, staff education, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state requirements, and survey processes.

  • Experience with clinical education, staff development, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to analyze clinical data and implement effective improvement strategies.

  • Passion for resident-centered care and developing healthcare professionals.
