Job summary

Ponderosa Villa in Crawford, Nebraska is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the DON in daily clinical operations, ensure care quality and compliance, and maintain adequate staffing. This role offers growth opportunities within a supportive team and a resident-centered environment.

The position requires an RN licensed in Nebraska, with at least one year of experience in skilled nursing/long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and licensed in Nebraska.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing/long-term care facility.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage schedules and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Provide coaching, performance management, and discipline.
• Oversee daily nursing care delivery across all units.
• Ensure care plans are implemented and updated appropriately.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Address clinical issues such as falls, wounds, and infections.
