Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for Bastrop Lost Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The ADON will assist in ensuring quality care and support the DON in directing day-to-day nursing operations for residents.

Requirements include completion of an LVN program and Texas LVN licensure, with at least 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility; RUG certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an LVN program at an accredited vocational school, college, or university.
• Must possess a current Texas LVN licensure.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• RUG certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and directing daily nursing department operations.
• Coordinate nursing services with resident care and physician teams.
• Recruit, hire and train nursing staff; ensure adequate shift coverage.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and regulatory reviews.
• Review resident records and implement plans of corrections as needed.
