Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for Laredo West Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Laredo, TX. The ADON will support the Director of Nurses in ensuring high-quality resident care and oversee daily nursing operations to meet regulatory standards.

The position requires completion of an LVN program, Texas LVN licensure, and at least 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility; RUG certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have LVN program completed and Texas LVN licensure.
• At least 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• RUG certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day nursing department operations.
• Coordinate nursing services and resident care with other staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate with attending physicians, medical director, and families about resident care.
• Assist in staffing needs assessment, recruitment, and training.
• Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities.
