Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. in Odessa, TX seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead clinical operations, support staffing, oversee resident care, and ensure regulatory compliance.

This leadership role emphasizes strong clinical judgment and teamwork to maintain high-quality care in a dynamic long-term care environment. The successful candidate will supervise nursing staff, develop care plans, manage documentation, and promote infection control, education, and staff

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in good standing with state board
• Strong leadership and management experience in nursing
• Geriatric or long-term care nursing background
• Restorative care philosophy with assessment and communication skills
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards

Responsibilities

• Support staffing needs by stepping in to assist floor staffing when needed
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, performance improvement and infection control programs
• Manage nursing staff responsibilities: hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate based on census and budget
• Ensure accurate documentation by reviewing and maintaining resident records
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and nursing teams
• Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources
• Uphold infection control through assessments and implemented measures
