Job summary

Complete Care - New Jersey & PA is seeking an experienced ADON/Infection Preventionist (RN) to lead the clinical team, promote high-quality resident care, and drive infection prevention initiatives. The role emphasizes compassionate leadership, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with leadership, implementing infection prevention plans, and ensuring staff adherence to standards. A sign-on bonus is offered, with full-time day-shift expectations.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree.
• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in long-term care or post-acute setting preferred.
• Infection Preventionist Certification required.
• Prior experience managing staff.
• LPN may be considered based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with facility leadership and medical director to develop, implement, and evaluate annual infection prevention goals and action plan.
• Establish a facility-wide system for prevention, identification, investigation, and control of infections for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain records of staff development programs for personnel.
• Ensure nursing staff compliance with established standards and regulatory requirements for resident care.
• Oversee nursing department budgets in coordination with facility administration.
• Implement compliance and quality improvement policies, programs, and procedures.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new nursing staff.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Assistant Director Of Nursing/Infection Preventionist Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree

Assistant Director Of Nursing/Infection Preventionist Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the facility leadership and medical director to develop, implement, and evaluate the annual infection prevention goals and action plan
• Establish a facility-wide system for the prevention, identification, investigation, and control of infections of residents, staff, and visitors. This will include surveillance designed to identify possible communicable disease or infections before they spread.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of on-going staff development programs for all personnel within facility
• Ensure that all nursing personnel in our facility comply with established standards, practices, and regulatory requirements for the highest quality of resident care
• Overseeing the implementation of nursing department budgets in coordination with the facility administration
• Implementing compliance and quality improvement policies, programs, and procedures
• Recruiting, training, and onboarding new nursing staff
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing
