We seek a results-oriented Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) RN with strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to supervise nursing personnel as directed by the Administrator.

The ADON assists the DON in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the nursing department to ensure high-quality resident care in compliance with all laws, regulations, and standards.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be a currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
  • Supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to foster a team atmosphere.
  • Ability to teach and lead on all shifts.
  • Knowledge of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
  • Ability to implement and interpret department programs, goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of state reporting and developing/implementing plans of correction.
  • Understanding and adherence to company policies, including harassment and compliance procedures.
  • Demonstrates integrity and professionalism.
  • Long-term care and assisted living experience required.
  • Supervisory experience: 2 years.
  • Nurse management experience: 2 years.
