We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Leader to join us as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). In this role, you will provide comprehensive care that truly matters and positively impact the lives of our residents. With over forty skilled nursing communities across Iowa, Care Initiatives is committed to exceptional care and support at every stage of the healthcare journey.

Responsibilities of the ADON:
  • Assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department, gaining valuable experience for potential advancement
  • Conduct regular rounds to monitor care delivery, address concerns, and propose solutions
  • Enforce policies and foster team growth
  • Manage administrative functions to improve department efficiency
  • Participate in an on-call rotation with leadership team
Qualifications:
  • Valid RN license in good standing, active in Iowa or able to activate
  • Current CPR certification
  • Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations (preferred)
