Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing and lead day-to-day nursing operations in a SNF setting in Bon Air, VA. The role emphasizes teamwork with administration to maintain resident care excellence.

The position requires RN (or LPN where allowed) licensure, 2+ years supervisory experience in a healthcare facility, and solid computer skills including EHR usage. Full-time role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess current RN license in the state of practice or LPN license if state allows.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or related healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing daily Nursing Service Department operations.
• Collaborate with Administrator and Medical Director to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local standards and infection control policies.

Position Summary:

The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work or licensed as an LPN if the state you operate in allows.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Shift & Wage:

• Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
