Midlothian Health & Rehab Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the SNF Nursing Service. This role focuses on quality of care and adherence to standards while leading a dedicated team.

You will work with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure excellent resident outcomes, compliance with policies, and day-to-day operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare facility.
• Basic computer skills and experience navigating electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing and directing day-to-day SNF Nursing Service functions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards and infection control policies.
• Collaborate with the Administrator and Medical Director to maintain the highest quality of care for residents.

Position Summary:

The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work or licensed as an LPN if the state you operate in allows.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

• Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
