Harmar Village Health & Rehab Center in Pennsylvania seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in managing the SNF Nursing Service Department. This full-time role emphasizes compliance, leadership, and resident-focused care.

You will work with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure top-quality care and adherence to regulations, while supporting staff development and a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state where you work.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility or related healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing day-to-day nursing service operations.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations and maintain quality of care for residents.
• Collaborate with the Administrator and Medical Director to maintain high care standards.

Position Summary:

The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work or licensed as an LPN if the state you operate in allows.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Shift & Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: 7:00a - 3:00p, 8:00a - 4:00p, or 9:00a - 5:00p
• Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 per year
