Transitions Healthcare North Huntingdon seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)/Infection Preventionist to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department. This role ensures high-quality resident care in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

The position requires a PA RN license, 2 years supervisory experience in geriatrics, 1 year in infection control, CPR, and preferred AED/first aid

Competenze

• Current and good standing Pennsylvania RN license.
• Two years supervisory experience in geriatrics/long term care preferred.
• One year prior experience with infection control
• CPR required
• AED and first aid certification preferred
• Point Click Care experience preferred

Mansioni

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility.

Transitions Healthcare North Huntingdon is looking to add a caring and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)/Infection Preventionist who will treat our residents and their families as if they were their own. The primary purpose of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) will be to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, the Medical Director, and/or Director of Nursing.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current and good standing Pennsylvania Registered Nurse.
• Two (2) years supervisory experience in geriatrics/long term care preferred.
• One (1) year prior experience with infection control
• CPR Required
• AED and first aid certification preferred
• Point Click Care Experience Preferred.
