Job summary

Hidden Lake Health Care Center is seeking a seasoned nursing leader to oversee the department, guide staff, and ensure high-quality resident care. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, care planning collaboration, and patient rights protection in a Medicare/Medicaid setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Missouri RN license with DON/ADON background, experience in infection prevention, wound care, and MDS/Care Plans, and demonstrates strong leadership and regulatory expertise.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri with DON/ADON experience.
• Experience with Infectious Disease and Infection Prevention.
• Rehabilitation focus, wound care, Medicare A & B knowledge.
• Experience with MDS/Care Plans and behavior management.
• Strong regulatory compliance record and commitment to Total Quality Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee aspects of the nursing department, including staff management and patient care.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff.
• Ensure adherence to resident rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversee aspects of the nursing department, including staff management and patient care
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
• Ensure adherence to resident rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to promote a positive work environment

Requirements:

• Strong Leadership and Supervisory Skills
• Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice with previous DON or ADON experience.
• Experience with Infectious Disease/Infection Prevention
• Rehabilitation Focus, Wound Care Experience, Knowledge of Medicare A & B, Willing To Work With Behavior Management Residents
• Enjoy working with the Elderly, MDS/Care Plans, Willing to work 2 Weeks a Month, Previous CNA/CMT instructor certification and have excellent regulatory compliance record and commitments to TQM (Total Quality Management)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff Familiarity with healthcare systems and regulations, including HIPAA compliance
