Powder Springs Center for Nursing & Healing is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing care, mentor staff, and drive quality resident outcomes in a skilled nursing setting. This is a step toward advanced leadership within Empire Care Centers that supports internal growth toward DON roles.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license with 3+ years of leadership experience in skilled nursing or rehab, strong team orientation and communication, and infection prevention

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting.
• Strong team orientation and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate comprehensive nursing care.
• Implement specialized clinical procedures and programs.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers on departmental goals.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and policies.
• Oversee infection control, quality assurance, staff training, and on-going education.

Responsibilities

The ADON performs diverse duties to support quality resident care, including:

• Coordinating comprehensive nursing care
• Implementing specialized clinical procedures and programs
• Collaborating with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers on departmental goals
• Ensuring compliance with operational policies and state and federal regulations

Key Duties

• Deliver safe, efficient, and compliant resident care
• Participate in the nursing home survey process
• Oversee infection control and quality assurance initiatives
• Supervise, mentor, and train nursing staff
• Organize and support in-service education and training programs

Requirements

• Active RN license
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
• Strong team orientation and communication skills
• Infection Prevention experience preferred
• Experience training and educating staff

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Alternating weekend on-call rotation
