Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead staffing, resident care, and regulatory compliance. The role supports MDS, care planning, and infection control while guiding nursing staff to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The ADON will collaborate with physicians and teams to design individualized care plans, ensure accurate documentation, and uphold restorative care principles in a geriatric setting. A licensed RN with strong leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed registered nurse (RN) in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing preferred.
• Strong leadership and management capabilities.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
• Restorative care philosophy and strong assessment/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support floor staffing needs as required.
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, and infection control programs.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget.
• Review and maintain accurate resident documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and teams to develop individualized care plans.

We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team! This leadership role plays a vital part in ensuring quality resident care, staff support, and regulatory compliance. Success in this position requires dependability, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to multitask and collaborate in a dynamic environment.

Your Impact as an Assistant Director of Nursing

In this role, you will:

• Support Staffing Needs: Step in to assist floor staffing when needed

• Oversee Resident Care: Contribute to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs

• Manage Nursing Staff: Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs

• Ensure Accurate Documentation: Review and maintain up-to-date and accurate resident records

• Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans

• Support Staff Resources: Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources

• Uphold Infection Control: Conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures
