Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of employment.
- Minimum 2 years nursing leadership in Skilled Nursing or LTC.
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and clinical standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Passion for resident-centered care and staff development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily nursing department operations.
- Mentor, coach, and supervise nursing staff.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure CMS and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct clinical audits, chart reviews, and quality assurance rounds.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and clinical oversight.
- Serve as Acting Director of Nursing in the absence of the DON.
- Promote accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.

As our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to support daily nursing operations, promote clinical excellence, and ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.
You’ll play a key role in developing nursing staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and creating a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Assist in leading and overseeing daily nursing department operations.
- Support, mentor, coach, and supervise nursing staff to promote quality care and teamwork.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations to develop a strong clinical team.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Conduct clinical audits, chart reviews, and quality assurance rounds to maintain high standards of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes and address clinical needs.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and clinical oversight to support effective nursing operations.
- Serve as Acting Director of Nursing in the absence of the DON.
- Promote accountability, communication, and continuous improvement throughout the nursing department.
- Help create a positive workplace culture where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered.
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) License valid in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, clinical standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, make sound clinical decisions, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Passion for resident-centered care, staff development, and clinical excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience with Infection Prevention, Quality Assurance, or Staff Development is a plus.
