Job summary

Riverwood Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to partner with the Director of Nursing, guide the nursing team, and ensure high-quality, compassionate care for residents. As ADON, you will lead operations, drive compliance, and model excellence across shifts.

Ideal candidates hold an active Florida RN license, a relevant bachelor's degree, and proven leadership in skilled nursing. You’ll participate in committees, support QA initiatives, and mentor staff to deliver

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Administration preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of OBRA, Joint Commission requirements, and state regulations.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Minimum 2 years of skilled nursing leadership experience.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and engage teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for caring for geriatric and sub-acute populations.

Responsibilities
