Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day SNF Nursing Service operations at our Virginia facility.

You will work with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure the highest standards of care while adhering to regulations and policies. RN license in-state is required, with LPN as an alternative if allowed, and prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state you work in, or an LPN license if allowed.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility or related healthcare facility, preferably long-term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing and directing day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department.
• Collaborate with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure high quality care for residents.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice.

Position Summary

The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work or licensed as an LPN if the state you operate in allows.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Shift & Wage

• Full-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: Daylight, 8:30a - 5:00p
• Wage: $40.00 - $47.00 per hour
