Saber Healthcare Group is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for a SNF in Harrisburg, PA. This full-time role supports the Director of Nursing, coordinating day-to-day nursing services to ensure exceptional resident care and compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

The position requires an active RN license with at least two years in a supervisory role, strong computer skills, and a commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state you operate.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility or related healthcare setting, preferably long-term care.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing and directing day-to-day nursing service functions.
• Collaborate with Administrator and Medical Director to ensure high quality resident care and compliance with standards and regulations.
• Uphold health, sanitary and infection control policies and Nursing policies and procedures.

Position Summary

The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education / Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work or licensed as an LPN if the state you operate in allows.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.
