Azria Health is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – RN to lead our nursing department and uphold the highest standards of resident care. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing to guide operations and promote excellence.

Ideal candidates bring RN licensure, 2+ years of supervisory and management experience in long-term care, and a strong commitment to regulatory compliance, staff development, and resident-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
• Minimum 2 years of nurse management experience.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, compliance requirements, and survey processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations.
• Support, mentor, and supervise nursing staff across all shifts.
• Promote a positive team culture through leadership and example.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to meet resident needs.
• Assist with surveys, audits, state reporting, and plans of correction.
• Help implement departmental goals, policies, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of clinical care and resident satisfaction.
• Participate in staff development, education, and performance management.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in leading our nursing department and ensuring the highest standards of resident care.

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting

• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, compliance requirements, and survey processes
• Experience with state reporting and plans of correction
• Ability to lead, coach, and inspire nursing teams

Preferred

• Proven success in improving quality measures and clinical outcomes
• Experience working closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
