Golden Pavilion Healthcare in Daly City, CA is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team and elevate resident care. This RN-led role partners with the Director of Nursing to supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote excellence in a skilled nursing setting.

The ADON will help recruit and develop nursing staff, monitor clinical outcomes, and maintain survey readiness while fostering a collaborative culture that prioritizes quality care

Qualifications

• Must hold an active California RN license.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a SNF.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to providing outstanding resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily management of the Nursing Services Department.
• Supervise, mentor, and support Unit Managers and nursing staff for clinical excellence.
• Monitor resident care, address clinical concerns, and ensure care plans compliance.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and maintaining appropriate nurse coverage for all shifts.
• Oversee infection prevention by tracking infections and collaborating on staff education.
• Participate in state and federal surveys and maintain survey readiness.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and evaluating RNs, LVNs, and CNAs.
• Review and update nursing policies to comply with regulatory standards.
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on quality care and teamwork.

Golden Pavilion Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a clinical leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care, developing nursing staff, and driving excellence in a skilled nursing environment.

Working alongside the Director of Nursing, the ADON plays a vital role in overseeing nursing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting staff development, and maintaining the highest standards of resident care.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with the daily management of the Nursing Services Department.

• Supervise, mentor, and support Unit Managers and nursing staff to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes.

• Monitor resident care, address clinical concerns promptly, and ensure compliance with individualized care plans.

• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and maintaining appropriate nurse coverage for all shifts.

• Oversee infection prevention efforts by tracking infections, analyzing trends, and collaborating with the Facility Educator on ongoing staff education.

• Participate in state and federal surveys and help maintain survey readiness.

• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and evaluating Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants.

• Review and update nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility standards.

• Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on quality care, accountability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current, active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) required.

• Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Commitment to providing outstanding resident-centered care.
