Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in managing the SNF Nursing Service Department. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards while maintaining high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate will hold an RN license, have supervisory experience in a healthcare facility, and be proficient with electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice or an LPN license where allowed.
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or related healthcare facility, preferably in long-term care.
• Proficient in navigating electronic health record software and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department.
• Collaborate with Administrator and Medical Director to ensure high quality care for residents.
• Follow health, sanitary, and infection control policies and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Position Summary:

The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day‑to‑day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work or licensed as an LPN if the state you operate in allows.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Shift & Wage:

• Full‑Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: 7:00a - 3:30p
• Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year
