Job summary

ECPI University, based in Manassas, VA, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to oversee the ADN program. The role includes administration, planning, implementation and evaluation of the program, coordinating faculty and providing hands-on instruction support in an engaging learning environment.

The Assistant Director will mentor ADN faculty, schedule orientation, foster strong communication between administration, faculty and students, and assist in clinical coordination to ensure

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required.
• Current Virginia license is required.
• Two years management experience preferred.
• Five+ years in a nursing specialty setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Off-site travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate ADN program administration, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Mentor and supervise ADN Nursing faculty, delivering engaging teaching methods.
• Provide academic tutoring and support to students to achieve learning outcomes.
• Schedule, coordinate and develop faculty orientation and mentoring programs.
• Serve as liaison between administration, faculty and students to facilitate communication.
• Assist in clinical coordination and overall program operations.
