Responsibilities:
Overseeing resident care, ensuring duties are completed, and nursing staff adheres to protocols
Assist in managing resident care and emergency responses
Attend and/or conduct care conferences
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
Assure confidentiality and efficient handling of records and data
Assist with performance reviews of staff
Share on-call with DON
Fill in for DON in his/her absence
Requirements:
Current RN license from the Virginia State Board of Nursing
CPR certification preferred
Previous experience in leadership roles
Strong leadership and communication skills
