Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with a reputable client to find a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Onondaga, NY. Salary Range:

  • $100,000 - $110,000 per year
  • Compensation based on experience, education, and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the DON with management responsibilities and maintaining quality of care
  • Conduct weekly Wound / Skin Rounds
  • Ensure compliance and effective communication with all nursing staff levels
  • Address the medical needs of all residents
  • Be available for 24-hour on-call duties
  • Coordinate and plan nursing services
  • Maintain knowledge of nursing theory and practice
  • Ensure accurate and timely medical records completion
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, and orienting new staff
  • Oversee daily staffing processes
  • Implement infection control measures
  • Maintain flexibility to meet unpredictable needs

Qualifications:

  • Current State RN license required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care settings
  • Management experience preferred
  • Staff education experience preferred
  • Leadership and supervision skills
  • Flexible work hours required
