Job summary

Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center in Henderson, TN is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead clinical teams and maintain high-quality resident care. The ADON will reinforce policies, oversee staff performance, support QAPI initiatives, and ensure regulatory reporting in accordance with state requirements.

The role requires Tennessee RN licensure, CPR certification, and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related facility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home or related facility.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care regulations.
• Current unrestricted RN license for TN

Responsibilities

• Communicate policies and procedures to clinical staff.

• Evaluate work performance of nursing personnel and discipline per policies.
• Ensure incident reporting per state regulatory requirements.

Assistant Director of Nursing Position Summary

As the ADON at Henderson Health and Rehab, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Communicate policy and procedures to clinical staff, monitor staff and practices.
• Participate in management team meetings related to census, resident care plans, complaints, and concerns as well as QAPI and facility assessments.
• Evaluate work performance of all nursing personnel and discipline according to operational policies.
• Ensure resident incidents and concerns that rise to a reportable event are reported to the correct entity within the state regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

Assistant Director of Nursing Requirements

• Current unrestricted RN license for the state of Tennessee
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home or other related healthcare facility
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices as well as long-term care regulations
